Get Involved.

Engaging volunteers to drive positive change in Vietnam.

Since 1995, GVI has organized groups of specialized volunteers from around the world to partner with Vietnamese communities, helping them overcome challenges and achieve lasting transformation. With offices in Texas and Hanoi, GVI is recognized by the Vietnamese government as an international NGO and focuses on sustainable, community-driven initiatives.

GVI partners with organizations who desire to use their skills and resources to help transform communities globally

Our partners identify the strengths and talents of their volunteers
then mobilize them to serve, carrying out a wide variety of community projects throughout Vietnam. GVI staff will work with your team to match your skills with the needs in Vietnam, then assist you in the planning, preparation and throughout the trip so that your team can focus on engagement, resulting in successful partnerships and long term community engagement. Testimonials

Real Stories, Real Impact.

Thank you, GVI, for sponsoring a summer camp for our orphaned children. The kids look forward to the camp every year. They look forward to seeing their friends from GVI and to spending time with them. This has meant so much for our Birla family.
Mrs. Huyen
Director of Birla Orphanage in Vietnam
The nutrition program has transformed our school’s relationship with parents. I remember not too long ago, when we went to a family to ask the parents to send their children to school, they threatened to harm us. Now, parents are helping the school with the garden, building the campus and even stay in class with their kids sometimes.

The purpose of GVI is to bring about transformation in communities in Vietnam. The way that we do that is we bring Americans with specific jobs like education, business, healthcare and we connect them with Vietnamese who are also doctors, nurses business leaders and educators, and we work together.
