Testimonials

Real Stories, Real Impact.

Before the GVI teams began working at my school, out of seven girls in my class, none had the chance to attend high school, regardless of their academic abilities. This was because parents preferred boys to have a higher education. This year, thanks to GVI’s outreach efforts with parents, all female students in my class now have the opportunity to attend high school if they pass the exams. Thank you for working closely with parents and giving our girls a choice for their future.

Our family would like to sincerely thank GVI for gifting us the hand tractor. Thanks to this support, we no longer have to endure the hard labor of manually plowing the fields, and farming has become much easier and more efficient. The hand tractor not only helps us save time and effort but also allows us to increase productivity, contributing to improved family income. This valuable gift provides us with more opportunities to grow economically and enhance our quality of life.

The purpose of GVI is to bring about transformation in communities in Vietnam. The way that we do that is we bring Americans with specific jobs like education, business, healthcare and we connect them with Vietnamese who are also doctors, nurses business leaders and educators, and we work together.

Every Child Has the Right to Learn: Rainbow Kinder

“Every child has the right to learn.” This is the dream of the leadership at Rainbow Kinder in Hanoi. The dream was realized in September 2014 with the opening of the very first class at Hanoi Social Sponsor 3 (SS3 Orphanage). It started with ten 4 to 5-year-old children who had never been exposed to life outside the walls of their orphanage, and within a year, those children were speaking up, asking questions, and playing and learning through hands-on projects.
