In July 2024, we celebrated 20 years of partnership between Hanoi National University of Education and GVI! 

Since 2004, GVI has partnered with Hanoi National University of Education to conduct professional training courses in the field of Special Education. Each summer, university faculty and GVI work together to organize a training course hosting about 200 participants from schools and care centers for children with special needs and disabilities, bringing together educational administrators, teachers, parents, and caregivers of children with disabilities to collaborate with strategically placed global volunteers with a heart to serve Vietnam.  

This year’s training theme, “Stronger Together,” demonstrates the value that both organizations place on the mutual learning and exchange that can be found when we work together to develop better opportunities for children with disabilities.
