NorthWood Youth Team 3.2012 TripApril 5, 2012
Spring break is the time that NorthWood’s Youth team comes to Vietnam to continue their mission which they have been doing for years.
This year, the team with 9 members came for 9 days. Within 9 days they had joined in many activities:
Up in Lao Cai, they did 300m2 school yard paving and painting 25m of fence and gate for Nam Mon kindergarten.
To improve the quality of meals for boarders of Nam Mon Primary School, team had donated chickens for students to feed and take care themselves.
Team was not only doing many fun activities with Primary and Middle School students but they also joining to set up the computer lab for Nam Mon’s Community Learning Center and its opening ceremony.
In Hanoi, team visited an Orphanage and a Social Sponsor Center to hang out and do fun activities with the kids there.
Only 9 days but for each member of the team either old or new and Vietnamese people were special times. Both young Vietnamese and young American had learnt how to share love in different ways and learnt how to be flexible and happy with any conditions and all circumstances.
Therefore, young people let not just saying and seeing but doing and experience. There are many lives out there need your love and your impact.
