GVI Partners with Aqua Clara

March 5, 2009

GVI will adopt water filter technology created by non-profit organization Aqua Clara International for its Water and Hygiene program in Lao Cai province, Vietnam. Aqua Clara’s technology is simple and sustainable and can be built using materials that are readily available in Lao Cai province. | Aqua Clara president Bob MacDonald recently traveled to GVI’s headquarters in Keller, TX, to train volunteers on building the water filters. GVI is in the process of developing a pilot program that will see test filters built in July 2009.
