We were able to lend some manual labor support in hauling the materials up the rugged slope, and were joined in our efforts by several of the school’s staff.

GVI learned that two girls from Sponsor Society 3 (SS3) were adopted shortly after the Tet New Year Holiday in February. Trang (4) and Nga (5) have gone to France to live with their new families.

We were “temporary residents and foreigners” in Ban Ho but never made to feel like it. The people of Ban Ho are gracious, humble, and their hospitality and resourcefulness has left lasting impressions on us all.
