Hanoi is Hot!

Hanoi is Hot!
Not only is it hot it is also extremely humid.
Not only is it hot and extremely humid there is no air conditioning in the children’s room..
Not only is it hot, extremely humid and no air, this room has a 25 year layer of dirt.
There is a long list of facts surrounding the days of Safari Sojourn in Hanoi…some might say complaints; however, I am saying facts.
There is the heat.
There is the humidity.
There is the filth.
What Does the Lord require of us? In the Hanoi heat and humidity
He requires we consider the children.
“Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”
Little children from Australia,
Little children from Malaysia.
Little children from Thailand.
Little children from Canada.
Little children from Korea.
Little children from Rwanda.
Little children from South Africa.
Little children from USA.
Little children from Vietnam.
Legs and arms swaying up and down to “Bull Frogs and Butterfly” music.
Hands knocking and tugging to “Knock Knock Knock I Heard Jesus Knocking” lyrics.
Lips repeating “ God prepared a great fish to swallow Jonah” verse.
Fingers grabbing the crayons to draw a Bible picture for the Maasai children in Tanzania.
Feet stomping to the African version of “Jesus Loves Me”.
Thumbs waving with the “Walk, Walk, Walk in the Light” words.
So with the heat-
So with the humidity-
So with the filth-
What Does the Lord require of us?
He requires we compare our little inconveniences to the great impact on His precious little children for the kingdom of heaven.
